Overview

Truck Trailer Equipment (TTE) has established itself as a trusted supplier in the UK, delivering high-quality spare parts for heavy goods vehicles, buses, and trailers across Europe. Their focus is on excellent customer service and reliable product availability.

The Challenge

Despite over 30 years of success, TTE’s existing digital platform was outdated and not optimized for the evolving needs of their customers or internal operations. They needed a complete revamp to modernize the ordering process, improve user experience, and streamline backend management.

The Solution

I led the end-to-end development of a new platform that covers both frontend and backend requirements:

  • A responsive frontend interface allowing customers to easily search and order parts.
  • A robust backend built with PHP and CodeIgniter managing inventory, orders, and customer data.
  • Secure RESTful APIs to integrate with third-party systems including payment and logistics.
  • Comprehensive admin tools for managing products and monitoring orders.

Your Role

I was in charge of the entire project lifecycle — from discovery and design through development and deployment. This involved both frontend and backend development, API creation, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure all business goals were met.
