Visit California’s goal is to promote the diverse and captivating tourism offerings across the state, encompassing nearly 20 distinct destinations and attractions. This initiative requires dynamic sales and marketing strategies tailored to various audience segments.
Challenge & Solution
Creating an engaging, informative, and multifaceted sales mission for such a broad portfolio of destinations posed significant logistical and technical challenges. In 2015, Black Diamond crafted a comprehensive week-long sales mission across the UK and Ireland, featuring separate tracks for travel trade and public relations professionals.
This included meticulously planned meetings, networking events, and training sessions held at three different locations. Leveraging Black Diamond’s extensive industry contacts, key stakeholders in travel trade and PR were invited to maximize engagement and ensure strong ROI for delegates.
